Cast

David Kross	Ben travels to Asia to come to terms with his life. Bargirls in Phnom Penh, acid and “shoot real rocket” on Killing Fields - a bit war tourism with standard. Then he meets Sreykeo, the Woman of Glass, and his journey takes a surprising turn.
Apinya Sakuljaroensuk	Sreykeo lives together with her mother and her brothers and sisters in Phnom Penh. To earn money for her family, she works as a bargirl. Sreykeo chooses Ben for the night, she chats him up, walks him home to his place and does not let him go anymore. She knows what she wants. This is what attracts Ben, who is still looking for meaning in life. He gets into Sreykeos world.
Stefan Konarske	Ed is Ben’s friend and his flat mate. He studies medical science. He tries out everything without losing path. He convinces Ben of doing the trip to South East Asia, but he also knows when it is enough; because “romance has nothing to do with unreasonableness.”
Jens Harzer	Henry is Ben’s brother. He works for a newspaper company and strictly separates job activities and private affairs. He has a fiancée at home and a trainee in the office. This works perfectly, until Ben’s problems throw him out of his well constructed little world.
Anne Müller	Claudia is an intern at the newspaper publishing. Sensually she copies page by page; Henry has a fancy for that; she knows that after Christmas she will have to leave the company, her lover Henry knows and which is fine for both of them. They're mature, after all.
Wanda Badwal	Lilli is Ed’s fellow student and they are „learning together“, if necessary in bed as well… She is fascinated by Bens truthful struggle for the right decision for his life. She offers Ben her toothbrush, which can’t be without consequences.
Michael Ostrowski	Alex is a globetrotter, always „on his way to China“- but his real home is only the bosom of the women. He knows that nearly everything what happens on earth is predetermined,  but he nourishes hope: „The only thing that’s really free… is freejazz“.
Marie Jung	Regula is a backpacker from Switzerland. In Cambodia she gets to know time from a different point of view and loves to tell her thoughts to her stoned friends for hours and hours. For Ed everything becomes timeless for a while.
Charly Hübner	Hajo Schober is a typical, lonely, Asia traveller, who is looking for contact, which he can’t make in his home country. Here in Asia he feels accepted and free.
Mary Wilson	Rachel Wilson is an open, warm and a non-binding person. She manages her task to care about the well being of everybody with pleasure.
Anatole Taubmann	Daniel Ventroni is a Swiss cosmopolitan. As a hotel manager he travels a lot. He is always looking for challenges, that’s why he cannot stay at one place for a long time. He numbers himself among the leading hotel managers and he is proud of his place.
Oliver Dittrich, Gilla Kremer	Anne & Kurt Heidmann. Ben’s parents are both teachers and try to support their children as good as they can. They are open-minded and like to make conversation. Kurt has a drum kit in his basement and plays regularly. Anne takes care of the garden.
Chab Kola	The salesman, from whom Ben and Sreykeo buy the ring, is like every salesman a good actor. He mourns about every dollar the costumers bargain for and is happy about every dollar he gets.

Julia Primus	Vanessa, the beautiful student doesn’t learn with Ed, because she studies another profession. This is convenient, ‘cause much more relaxed.
Constanze Becker	Sibylle is Henry’s wife. They are a couple since school and until now they never broke up.
