Dubbing- Why saying "hello" can be difficult
Same Same But Different was original shot in English and German. For the German release we also created a dubbed German Version. As you could read in one of the previous posts nearly all characters- even Apinya and she could not even speak one single German word before- have dubbed themself.

Making movies is a process: Editing

Apinya speaks German
Thank you to Kirstins cell phone and Mr. Bucks camera! They are able to record videos. Even in a dark studio without windows.

On Sunday, Buck and Kirstin flew to Bangkok, to do the ADR for the German version of the movie with Apinya. We keep our fingers crossed and are very excited to see the report and the outcome.

First public screening at the Filmfestival in LOCARNO
