Dubbing- Why saying "hello" can be difficult

Same Same But Different was original shot in English and German. For the German release we also created a dubbed German Version. As you could read in one of the previous posts nearly all characters- even Apinya and she could not even speak one single German word before- have dubbed themself.
Watch out how Michael Ostrowski managed the Dubbing and get to know why sometimes a normal word like "hello" can be so difficult...

Making movies is a process: Editing

Movie making is a very very very long process, starting from script writing, shooting and a long post production process. Sometimes you think " It is done" but at the end: "it is not." Here you can see our editor Dirk Grau cutting out a scene directly in the cinema...

Thank you to Kirstins cell phone and Mr. Bucks camera! They are able to record videos. Even in a dark studio without windows.

On Sunday, Buck and Kirstin flew to Bangkok, to do the ADR for the German version of the movie with Apinya. We keep our fingers crossed and are very excited to see the report and the outcome.
