Nothing I have ever done so far! It is working in an environment that is so different from your usual living and working situation that you have to be open and flexible. Not relying on your usual skills makes you see new things. Not only that you ACTUALLY get to see new things but because you are more aware of what is happening around you. An attitude that can only be healthy to embarque to Europe.
What was the most bizarre thing that happened to you?
Fried spiders, monkeys in the park, feeling tall!, beef soup for breakfast, spending a night in a cambodian hospital having one french speaking, one german speaking doctor and bedsheets that smelled like my grandma’s…
What influence did the time in Cambodia have on you?
I guess I am less “arrogant” about the European culture. – and I watch more often the discovery channel…;-)
