What is SAME SAME?
Oh I had to think about a long time....People wear the red Christmas had for Christmas ;-)
What is DIFFERENT?
The weather and the sudown. I´ve never seen before colours in the sky like in Cambodia

Nothing. It didn´t seemed like work in Germany. It was like a big adventure in another world. not one day was like another.
What was the most bizarre thing that happened to you?
I was in Asia for nearly the same reasons like Ben when he came to Asia for the first time. I went to Cambodia because it was a dream for me to see Angkor wat since a long time. For casuality I heard about the movie “same same but different”.
I stayed in one of the typical hostels in the area around the boeng kak lake and got in contact to the team. Some days later I was a part of them. This was bizarre for me.
Oh, and I went by moto together with 3 other people without a helm.
What influence did the time in Cambodia have on you?
Last year I finished school. The trip to Cambodia was my first journey to a country so far away. Also my first Christmas separated from my family. Now I understand better that everything needs his own time. 5 seconds more or less, i´m not worry about this. The result in the end is more important then a perfect timetable. Now I also think that live can so much be easyer and more comfortable if you will smile more.
But the most important is: I learned the meaning of compassion.
This must be mentioned about Cambodia:
At first look and learn from the local cambodian people!
These are the places one must visit:
Angkor wat, phnom chisor
These are the things one must eat or drink:
Chicken amok, coconut milk, coffee with sweet milk
These are the things one must do:
*Aerobic in front of the Kings palace.
*To go out with your Cambodian friends.
*Visit places wich are not in the lonely planet travel guide.
*Take a moto to explore the city!
