shooting order David Kross

Enjoy a report of Tine, the assistant to director Buck about the shooting schedule:

At the beginning the production company told me no consideration for Davids premiere "The Reader" in Los Angles. He probably wont fly.
Our shooting schedule was tide and David had to act in almost every scene. Then the production changed their mind, David has to fly to Los Angeles - three days before shooting start . I thought I become crazy.
I had to find six days without David. So I spread out the shooting order on a table and put every scene together David was not in. This was one day. So we had to shoot five days with David, afterwards he could fly and we shoot one more day without David. That means six days week - not very crew friendly. Then 2 days off like every week. I rearranged the shooting order that we have one travel day to the village plus 2 more days off, means two more shooting weeks with six days week- this was the only possibility to shot the rice crop at the right time (because nobody in Cambodia is waiting for a German crew to shot their rice crop and to end up at the same date to travel to Malaysia. Everything worked well. I was really happy.
The shooting order was called David Golden Globe Version instead of version 27 - haha.
