Tomorrow the Toronto International Film Festival is over and we say welcome home to David, Apinya, Anatole, Buck, Claus, Lizza and Kirstin! We hope that you had a great time and that you enjoyed the Film Festival!
The Toronto International Film Festival takes place in Canada every year for ten days since 1976. It has a standing as the biggest Film Festival on the American ground. Movies such as L.A. CRASH or NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN were screened there before they won an Oscar®. The Festival has no competition section and no official market. But nevertheless it has a great importance for American distribution companies which are looking for promising movies that are still up for grabs. That means that it is a relevant place for making deals.
We’re looking forward to the reports of our crew and we can’t wait to hear if the SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT screenings were successful…
If you “stop by” the blog next week, you can check out some video clips of the Toronto Film Festival.
Stay tuned and enjoy life!
