Respect& Protect: World Aids Day

Today is World Aids Day.
Many of you do already know that Same Same But Different is not a normal love story of two young people. It is unusual and different. Two different worlds, two different way of thinkings, two different backgrounds. And a question of responsibilty and decision: Staying together with a partner who is infected with HIV.

Around the world many people are infected with HIV. The same sickness, but different stories.
Since 1988 the Aids Day is held every year on December 1. It is an international day to raise awarness about HIV and Aids around the world.

Support World AIDS Day

The red ribbon is worn as a sign of support for people living with HIV. Wearing a red ribbon for World AIDS Day is a way to show support and challenge the stigma and prejudice surrounding HIV and AIDS.
